Family and Education

Family is the foundation of the American dream. Not saying that a nuclear family is the only way for someone to be successful, but having a stable family environment, whether it is a single parent and one child or a three or four generation home and large family unit is arguably better than a fractured home environment.

Children thrive when parents and extended family help them grow and learn how to act and react to their environment. Learning to care for others should start at home and continue outside the home. Children learn by observation and the environment they observe is critical.

Conservatives promote policies that promote and protect the family, whatever that family may be.
