January 1, 2012
It’s been a year of great successes for Republicans in Wisconsin, but whether we choose them or not, the battles have only just begun!
We started 2011 having elected our great conservative leader Governor Scott Walker and Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch. Racine County was proud and happy to send Reps Vos, Craig, and Kerkman, along with Senator Van Wanggaard to Madison.
We quickly learned that Democrats are stunningly sore losers, and the chaos of Democrat Senators fleeing the state, and the shameful occupation of our beautiful and historic Capitol building ensued. Our elected Republicans stood firm for their conservative agenda. Around the state, many fought hard in recall elections. The right side still prevailed thanks to all of us working proactively together.
But, the “Democrats” continue to thwart democracy. We need everyone’s help more than ever! It’s only thru the efforts of dedicated volunteers, along with membership dues and donations, that we can save Gov. Scott Walker and Sen. Wanggaard from the looming threat of recall.
And, 2012 is still a national election year in which our goal will be to elect another Republican Senator to join Sen. Ron Johnson in DC, and finally end the epic failure of Barack Obama’s presidency.
Make your voice heard! Show your support for our brave Republican legislators! Be a part of this fight by starting or renewing your 2012 membership in the Racine County Republican Party. Remember that being a member is the only way for you to influence the direction of the party, by participating in caucuses and the state convention.
Please visit our membership section, so we may continue to build upon our efforts to restore a better America, Wisconsin, and Racine County.
Sincerely,
Bill Folk
Chairman, Racine County Republican Party
